Product Updates and Documentation

SDL provides product updates and patches to customers who are under warranty or have a current software maintenance agreement. Support is provided on the currently supported versions of the products and is subject to the terms and conditions in the product’s Software License Agreement.
SDL patch set releases and documentation are available on the SDL Customer Portal or can be delivered via CD-ROM upon request.
Downloading Patch Set Releases on the Customer Portal
To download Documentation, PatchSets or Platform Requirements and Release Notes, please do the following:

Login to the SDL Customer Portal. If you do not yet have a SDL Customer Portal login please use Request Portal Login on the Portalyx Support web site.

Ensure that the product “gadget” is on your Home page, for example XPP or Contenta. The product gadget will usually appear on the right side of the home page. You will usually only see gadgets for the products you use. For more information on adding a gadget, please see FTP Instructions on the Portalyx Support web site.

- Select the product and version, for example XPP 8.2 and what you would like to download, for example, Documentation, PatchSets or Platform Requirements and Release Notes.

- To download patch set releases, open the PatchSets folder and select the correct Patch Set executable for your server platform. Select Save Target As… then select the location and select the Save button. In the PatchSets folder you can also find Patch Set Release Notes, a Fixed Issues Report, and a Readme.txt file that contains installation instructions. Please review and download updated Documentation and Platform Requirements and Release Notes prior to installing the patch set.

Request Updates and Patches on CD-ROM
To request product updates, patch set releases and documentation to be delivered via CD-ROM, please use the following form. If you have a request for multiple systems, please fill out a form for each system.
