Course Information
Course Dates/Times
Courses start on the first day at 10:00, and at 09:15 on other days, unless otherwise noted. Courses will normally end at 17:00, unless otherwise noted. When travel is required, these times may be modified.
Course prices
Course prices are determined based on the course type and the number of attendees. Please see Training Options on the Portalyx web site: www.portalyx.com/training.
Course Language
Training courses are taught in Dutch or in English, depending on the instructor and attendees enrolled. Course materials are provided in English only.
Course Location and Directions
Our standard courses are delivered at our offices in Amsterdam. The Portalyx training facility is located in the same building as our office. Please see Contact information on the Portalyx web site: www.portalyx.com/contact.
Course Lunch/Breaks
A basic lunch will be provided at the training facility along with 2 coffee breaks. Please let us know when you register for a course if you have any dietary restrictions (vegetarian, etc.).
Course Facilities
The Portalyx training facility has configured systems running the products being trained on. We provide 1 terminal configured for every 2 attendees. We have a white board and flip over chart in the training area, and if applicable, an overhead projector "beamer" for the instructor to use.

Portalyx recommends that attendees wait 2 weeks before the course start date to commit to travel arrangements in the event that the minimum number of attendees is not reached. Travel arrangements are the attendee's responsibility. Portalyx assumes no liability for any inconveniences, damages or prices, including non-refundable tickets, that attendee may incur if a course is cancelled or rescheduled.

Course Confirmation
Once we have received your request, we will e-mail you a Portalyx Training Confirmation form. If you do not receive a Portalyx Training Confirmation form at least one week before the beginning of the course, please contact us.
Courses are confirmed only if secured by a signed Portalyx Training Confirmation form or a Purchase Order listing the course name, course start date, and course attendee. Courses are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration is complete when attendee receives e-mail notification of receipt by Portalyx of the signed Portalyx Training Confirmation or a Purchase Order.
Course Cancellation
Attendee Course Cancellation
If an attendee needs to cancels a course, prices are determined on a sliding scale, depending on notification date. If it is necessary to cancel a course, please contact us as soon as possible.
- Cancellations received more than 4 weeks before the course start date receive a full refund
- Cancellations received between 4 and 2 weeks before the course start date receive a 50% refund
- Cancellations received inside the two week period before the course start date or if an attendee does not show up for the course receive no refund
Note: Attendee substitutions are acceptable before the course start date, provided your substitute meets the course prerequisites or is approved by Portalyx.
Portalyx Course Cancellation
Portalyx has the right to cancel the course or refuse enrolment if:
- The minimum number of attendees is not reached two weeks prior to the scheduled start date
- The maximum number of attendees is reached
- The attendee does not meet the course prerequisites
If it is necessary for Portalyx to cancel or reschedule a course, Portalyx will e-mail you a notification at least 2 weeks before the course start date.
Course Materials/Evaluation
Course Materials
Portalyx will provide all course materials unless otherwise noted.
Note: Attendees will have the right to use the hard copies of all course materials that may be delivered by Portalyx. The course materials are the property of Portalyx or it's suppliers. Customer will have no right to make copies of, distribute or create derivative works of the course materials without permission from Portalyx or it's suppliers.
